So Far

As it is now one month since December 30th when I started my new years resolutions, I now have my monthly update on how they're going. And so far I'm doing good.

I didn't actually post my new years resolutions, but this year I had three main ones and I can safely say I've kept all three.

I've started going slightly vegetarian, at least as far as getting rid of Hamburger, I'll still eat Fish and Chicken, and the occasional rib-eye steak. Chicken will be next to go.

I'm also going to the gym five nights a week, and have been all month. I'm now to the point where I feel it when I miss a day, which I have to on sundays since the gym isn't open on sundays. When it comes to the gym I'm an extreme introvert, I hate working out around people. So I go at 2 in the morning when there's no one else there. I haven't noticed any difference in certain areas, but in others there has been a bunch.

Basically I'm getting sick easier and easier and this is what's keeping me healthy.

Oh and in case you didn't know already, I cut all my hair off.

Sundance Day One

Saturday was my first day this year of the Sundance Film Festival. And it was a good one. I started off the day with watching some of the television show "Six Feet Under". Then I found out Ozomatli was putting on a free concert in Park City. These pictures are from the concert.

The last picture is me and the trombone player. It was a really good concert and the band was very interactive with the band.

Then I drove up to Salt Lake to catch some movies, we first saw the Documentary "Ghosts of Abu Ghraib". It was all on stuff that I hadn't ever heard about due to being on my mission at the time. My only problem with the movie was the sound. Most of the movie was a thumping bass soundtrack which literally made me sick.

Then we went to see the movie Fido, a 1950s Zombie comedy. It had some funny moments but overall wasn't too good. The set design and color was fabulous.

Up Next My Day Two...

06/07

Goal Time.

Have a cool job by the end of the year -- This doesn't mean I'm just going to go out and look for a job, but really a cool job, like working/interning for a radio station or something related in some way to what I'm studying.

Figuring out the best route to getting out of Utah -- I have a year and a half left of free schooling, and I want to be done with Utah schooling when that point happens so I can go on to better places. I'm stuck in Utah this whole year no matter what.

Find a cool house apartment -- I haven't been in a complex apartment in a while but I will reaffirm that I prefer house apartments in every way.

Eat Healthier -- This may seem vague but I've already considered in what ways. Cheese fries are gone forever, when something can make me that sick there's no way I can ever eat it again. Burgers are done with only two exceptions (If I'm served them at some function or Burger's Supreme). Fries are gone except again Burger's Supreme and occasionally Burger King cause they taste like Mashed Potatoes. (Note To Self: Remedy this by eating Mashed Potatoes).

Get one more state and five more sign pictures -- I haven't been to 13 states, I want to be able to say 12 or less by the end of the year. I also want to have a photo album of myself in front of the Welcome to (State) sign for each of the 50 states. I'm up to 7, I want to get up to 12 by the end of the year.

Network like Crazy -- I need connections in this business, and to do that I need to continually meet new people and network with them. Sundance will be the begining and it'll get bigger from there.

Create a good portfolio -- I need more things for my portfolio, as well as more things looking professional.

Get paid for a commercial -- In this business radio commercials are pretty standard for quick bucks from anyone. I too need money and this is an easy way I can do that.

Stuff this year -- This is my stuffing year, I need to fill the time and make many things so that I'll be prepared for 2008 which will be the big year of change. This is my buffer year, the more stuffing I put in my jersey this year the less it'll hurt when I get out on the field.

Get some socializing in there -- As was evident with last semester, when I get really involved with school and what not, my blip on the social radar dies. I'm a social creature and need socializing to truely get everything to work.

What happens when I pick my hair for an hour
